Paul Rogers focuses on antitrust litigation and counseling arising under the Sherman, Clayton and Robinson-Patman Acts. Paul has worked with a wide variety of clients in the manufacturing, health care, energy, telecommunications, nonprofit, technology, franchisor and service provider industries.

The former Dean of the Southern Methodist University School of Law, he has more than 40 years' consulting experience in antitrust matters with numerous companies, including those in the Fortune 500 as well as prominent law firms throughout the country. He has written frequently for journals and given CLE presentations on antitrust topics. His antitrust casebook, now in its fifth edition, is used at many law schools throughout the country.

Paul's experience includes:

  • Serving as a consultant for the plaintiff in an antitrust suit involving the safety syringe industry
  • Served as a consultant for chicken growers in a class action against chicken processors
  • Served as an expert in defense of a class action involving the retail tire industry
  • Served as a consultant in defense of a class action against Texas automobile dealers
  • Served as a consultant in a large monopolization suit involving the hospital bed industry
  • Advised a small dairy cooperative in an antitrust case brought against a very large dairy company
  • Represented large group of electric utilities in a Request for a Business Review letter from the Antitrust Division of the Department of Justice
  • Provided expert opinion for large law firm defending malpractice claim from allegedly faulty antitrust advice
  • Advised on antitrust implications of a proposed sale of significant gypsum board manufacturer to a competitor
  • Served as expert in a predatory pricing case involving the mobile home tire and wheel industry
